    Description

    This unique 1/18 scale model is mostly built from scratch by Herb Miska who is better known for a series of entirely scratch built models of vintage sports and racing cars from the 1911 - 1955 time frame. The Packard is built on a vintage Hubley base (fenders, running boards and frame). The body is wood from the cowl back and metal forwards. The hood opens to reveal the straight 8 "L head" engine. Radiator, grill, bumpers and the wire wheels are all scratch built from metal. The upholstery is genuine leather. Interestingly, when one googles 1930 Packard 7-34 Speedster the first image that appears is this model! You'll never find another.
