    This listing is for a beautiful 11 1/2" oval platter by Taylor, Smith & Taylor in pattern 394. No chips, cracks, or evidence of unusual wear. It looks like there used to be a gold rim, but that has almost completely worn away. You can still see little remnants of it in the "dips" around the edge of the platter. The backstamp indicates this piece was manufactured in 1940. Absolutely lovely. If this is your pattern, here's a chance to add a beautiful serving piece to your set!
