1956 Taylor Smith Taylor 9.25" Plates
I am pleased to offer for your consideration a set of mid-century Taylor Smith Taylor (TST) Blue Mist plates free of chips, cracks and repairs that appear to have been seldom used, if ever. Measuring approximately 9-1/4" in diameter, these vintage dinnerware luncheon plates are blue with white flowers with pink centers and graceful grey and black leaves on the classic shaped Versatile blank; rich platinum outer rim banding. Individual pieces may have light age-appropriate surface marks/scuffs that I believe are most likely due to improper storage in their past; delightful imperfections from time of original manufacture (including small rim imperfections) give each plate its unique personality and one-of-a-kind charm! Stamped: TAYLOR SMITH TAYLOR  VERSATILE  OVENPROOF  MADE IN U.S.A. Date codes on individual plates date production of all to the year 1956, three of the four in August, the fourth December, with the four being produced by work crew #3. Cups and an open sugar bowl are also available in this oh-so-50s' pattern!
