    TAYLOR SMITH & TAYLOR
    6 ENGLISH ABBEY SIDE PLATES
    7 1/4" Diameter
    1" Rim
    These are six vintage side (dessert, salad etc) plates with an English Abbey transfer that were made in West Virginia but are as lovely as any of the old English transfer plates.  The ivory plates have scalloped edges trimmed with an embossed flower & swirl pattern and an Abbey scene in red transfer at the center.
    The plates are vintage and were pre-owned but are in remarkable condition with no chips, cracks, stains, crazing or unsightly utensil scratches. (There may be a few light storage type scratches hidden here and there in the pattern but that's it. There not many sets of these plates in condition this good.).... The back of each plate is stamped as shown in the photos.
    There are two sets of six plates each being offered.  Both sets are in the same fine condition and we can combine shipping for anyone wishing to purchase both sets.
    SHIPPING: The shipping estimate is based on a packaged weight of 4 pounds and includes insurance and tracking.  We do not have a handling fee and do not profit from postage.  If the estimate prove too high, we will refund the overage.  If it falls short, we will make up the difference.
