.023 wire is particularly good for thin thickness mild steel welding with 115v and 230v units and 3 ph spool on gun MiG machines.
1lb is light and therefore ideal for economy yet practicality on portable and spool on gun MiG machines.
Standard 4" spool size with standard 5/8" Spindle hole opening.
E70S-6 MIG welding wire is a good general purpose welding wire for mild steel.
Best results are when used with 75/25 (Argon/CO2) MiG gas or can also be used with more economical 100% CO2 gas.
General Purpose - auto body repair, fabrication, maintenance, farm and or agricultural or shop welding.
Precision wound wire - allows smoother wire flow than random spooled wire.
