GF200 digital milligram scale is the same high quality features of the A&D GX200 without motorized internal calibration weight. This state of the art laboratory milligram measurement instrument incorporates the Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) weigh cell delivering you the ultimate in response speed - Just ONE Second.
The stabilization time of one second is achieved when FAST is selected for the response rate to read a displayed value after a sample is placed on the pan. Other features include: a data memory function to store up to 40 sets of weighing data; Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) data output using the standard RS-232C serial interface; Large bright vacuum fluorescent display which lets you read the display from wherever you are working, even in a dimly lit area; Comparator Indicators displaying the comparison results; Capacity Indicator, displaying the weight value in percentage relative to the weighing capacity; Hold Function, provided for weighing a moving object such as an animal; Underhook, for measuring density and weighing magnetic materials; Density Mode, for calculating the density of a solid; Reference Card, provided for a quick reference to the balance operation; IP54 level dust & splash; Patented Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS)
To keep cost low A&D designed the GF200 with the short plastic breeze break. To place item(s) on the weighing platform one needs to lift off the plastic top and place the sample on the weighing pan and then put the cover back on. To increase your efficiency in weighing samples(s) many customers decide to purchase the optional AND GX10 glass breeze break. The GX10 has 3 doors that will allow the operator to place items on the weighing platform for the top, left or right side. We always recommend the optional GX10 but this adds over 5 more to the cost of the GF200.
When the GF200 lab balance is first installed or when it is moved to another location, it should be calibrated to ensure accurate weighing results. We offer a full line of calibration weights including the recommended 200 gram calibration weight for the GF200. Every location in the world is positioned differently to "magnetic north" and therefore the acceleration of gravity is slightly different. In addition, barometric pressure effects the acceleration of gravity depending upon your location's altitude to sea level. A&D Weighing balances equipped with the RS-232 interface can use AND's WinCT data acquisition software data communication software. Other manufacturer's charge you 0's more for either their balance communication software or a third party software but not with the A&D you can download WinCT balance software free.

Plus the Sartorius Practum and Quintix come standard with USB interface while the A&D GF is a serial RS-232 interface and in today's technological age serial RS-232 is a thing of the past.
