For sale is the Li’l Coffin Custom Show Rod by Monogram Classics.  It is kit number 85-0094.  The UPC is 031445000942 and was copyrighted in 2000.  The kit is 1:24 scale and the kit was made in the USA.  Scaled from Monogram-Owned Original Full Scale Car Sweepstakes Winner N.H.R.A. Show, 1962 and Top Custom Car Oakland Show, 1963.  There is a Collector’s Card inside.
The full size Li’l Coffin call the “wildest Deuce ever shown in International Championship Auto Shows” is one of the best known show cars of the day.  This most unusual design car, based on the 1932 Ford sedan, is especially noted for its cantilever top which is supported at the rear only. Powered by a six carburetor, 329 cubic inch DeSoto engine. The low rakish look comes from a top chopped 3 inches and sectioned body, channel the full 10 inches.
The Li’l Coffin half inch scale model is a faithful copy of the original car. Kit includes detailed DeSoto engine with 6 carburetors in all the trimmings, tires and slicks with white walls inserts, operating doors, mag wheels with knock offs, headrest and roll bar, steerable front wheels, steering handle and simulated padded interior in full detail. Standing skeleton figure included. 116 parts in 3 colors and chrome plate.
This kit is brand new and factory sealed.  The box has some warp.   It comes from a smoke free and pet-free home.
