The balance has three notched, tiered beams for reading measurements in 0.10g increments, with magnetic damping to facilitate prompt, accurate readings. The balance is made of enameled metal for durability, and its 6.0” weighing platform is made of stainless steel to resist scaling and corrosion. The balance includes a loop for securing (lock and cable sold separately).
