Description

This is the BIG ONE!! This is a wonderful vintage glass display jar. This jar would have sat on the counter of an old grocery or drugstore, either alone, or stacked with matching jars. As you can see, the top is concave so a second jar could sit on top, freeing up valuable counter space.
Embossed: NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY / "UNEEDA BAKERS", along with the NBC UNEEDA logo. Around the lip is embossed: MADE IN U.S.A. / PAT. APPLD. FOR.
Measures about 9 1/2” tall and a whopping 10” wide. The mouth of the jar is 6” wide. Extremely heavy with a shipping weight of nearly 13 POUNDS!
Displays beautifully, and in excellent condition, with no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, bruises, or repairs. (The lip of the jar is good, with no roughness.) Glass is in good condition, no chips or cracks. There is normal wear on the bottom and some wear on top wear another container may have set.
