These rooted plants assume the maturity of the mother tree and will produce figs the first year. Grown in 1 quart deep square pots, well rooted when shipped. Ready to transplant to a larger pot or plant in the ground. These are not the tiny, thin stemmed plants produced from tissue culture in a lab. Our trees are rooted and grown by the traditional, ancient method of scion wood propagation. Grown on the Gulf Coast near Bay St. Louis, MS. Not from California with it's inherent Mosaic Virus Disease problem. We sell fresh figs to markets & eateries from our 75-80 mature, producing trees. All of the varieties offered are self fertile and good commercial producers.
