One of the main upgrades for the PS8 compared to the PS7 is the original patented Palmscale Hydro Hinge which provides easy opening of the scale with just the flick of a button. The PS8 is actually the first Palmscale ever to be powered by AAA. Previous Palmscales were powered by Li-Ion button batteries or a proprietary rechargeable battery. The sleek chrome body and rubberized form-fitting casing makes it stylish and easy to handle. We kept the reverse lit display which is an amazing feature that makes the scale very easy to read in all weighing environments.
