This Ohaus Vintage 2160g Triple Beam Balance Scale in Art Deco Style is in very good condition with original grey-flake finish with a few chips here and there. Stainless steel weighing platform is removable to add counterweight - this one was filled with pennies.
The scale does calibrate accurately, despite the indication in the photos. I took the pennies out of the cavity under the weighing platform. When adequately weighted the scale is accurate.
From the lack of wear and tear on this scale, it likely never had much commercial or educational use. A well preserved example of industrial art from no later than the 1950s.
