RARE Antique Animal Cracker Box

Plain and simple- this is a RARE survivor. I have collected animal cracker boxes for 50 years- I have a number of them- I seek them out- when I heard of this collection in Mpls a few winters ago- I made the connection and bought the collection- twenty eight different boxes- ( a few duplicates)
Let's talk about the box. There is minor wear to the top lid fold- see picture #4- I do not think that it takes away from the piece at all- and it doesn't play anything into the piece- as the flap isn't seen. The colors are bright- the string handle is original. Box measures 3" tall by 4 1/4" long.
These are VERY keen on the Christmas tree as well.
I would date 1900 or before and I would say its RARE.
