Step Wedge X-Ray Phantom Calibration Tool

Description

This X-Ray step wedge tool, also called an X-Ray phantom, is designed to be helpful in comparing X-Rays taken on different machines at the same or different times or the same machine at different times.
A difference in calibration or exposure or other parameters that result in visible differences in the phantom image, may be indicative of the need to check calibration.
If no differences are noted, the results should be sufficient to allow some level in confidence in the quality of the resulting images.
This X-Ray step wedge tool is fabricated from solid C3H4O2 thermoplastic polyester. The density is about 33% greater than water.
