    Description

    TAYLOR, SMITH & TAYLOR POTTERY APPLE COOKIE JAR (c. LATE 1940'S). The item measures approximately 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and it weighs approximately 4 LBS. This is not a Hull pottery piece and a lot of people mistake these pieces for Hull pieces. You can research it for yourself online at
    www.laurelhollowpark.net/tst/tst-p8.html. Some of the green is wearing off the leafs on the side of the cookie jar but typical for a piece from the late 40'S. There are no nasty odors, water, mold or mildew issues. Also there are no chips, cracks, crazing issues, broken, glued or missing parts. There is a small glazing spot on the bottom where it was missed when it was made which is very typical of pottery pieces (look at picture 12 to view it). The only way you can see it is to flip it over and look at it. Please look the pictures over for a better idea of the condition, style, color, etc.
