Vintage 1930s Dads Cookie Jar & Lid, Tom's Lance Store Display
Original 1930s Dads small Cookie Jar with glass lid,
Dads jar and Lid is very hard to find, Dads jar has 2 tiny chips on inside rim of jar, Dad's decal in very good condition bright and clear / Dad's decals were paper or fired on decals / this has the paper one, Dad's decal has on it Manufactured By Dad's Cookie Co. Limited Toronto Branches At Montreal & Vancouver  size is 9" tall with lid on and 5 1/2" wide.
The Dad's company came from Scotland in the early 1900s to the U.S. and in 1920s began selling franchised for Dad's cookies, these small Dad's cookie jars were giving away by salesmen as samples to places of businesses to show what the 2 and 3 gal. Dad's jars would look like filled with cookies.
