Vintage 1950s Sun Rubber Drink & Wet Baby Doll “Sun Dee” 13 Inches
For consideration is this vintage 1950s rubber drink and wet baby doll made by Sun Rubber Company and named “Sun Dee”. She measures 13 inches long and is marked on the back of the neck “Sun Dee” followed by “©Sun Rubber Co Barberton Ohio”.
Sun Dee has open close sleep eyes, her right eye is a little lazy in closing and her green eyes are slightly cloudy. Her lips have a little color loss as she was obviously well fed! Her squeaker is not working and it may be loose as there is a rattle inside the body when moved. All her fingers and toes are present. There is color loss to the molded hair (see photos).
Her pink cotton dress in very good condition but needs a repair as the seam beneath the armpit is completely undone to the wrist and needs sewing. The elastic in both sleeves is somewhat sprung and there are no panties, shoes or other accessories included. The dress has been laundered and pressed. She has been cleaned with Witch Hazel and a cotton ball and could use a more thorough cleaning. Buyer will pay Priority shipping on a 2 pound box. Thank you for looking!
