Description
Offered for your consideration is an antiqueNABISCO
PREMIUM SALTINES
tin, USA-manufactured c.1959. This style of NABISCO 14 ounce tin with an italicized cursive sentence also features one panel in Spanish. Though it bears no copyright date, I believe it predates the common ©1969 version by at least a decade. I was not able to find any magazine ads online that showed this older tin style, so I suspect it was only made for U.S. markets with a large Hispanic population; the southwest in particular.
So, please have a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this increasingly scarce style of NABISCO tin should be yours.
This PREMIUM SALTINES tin is in clean, very good condition. The colorfully enameled steel can measures 4⅝” square (a bit more at lid) by 9” tall. There are no dents, noteworthy scratches, or undue rust, just some tiny dings and light scuffs from the years as pictured. Plus, though a bit sun-faded, the colors are still fairly vibrant. And, the upper lip is a bit askew in places, but the lid attaches securely. Overall, this vintage NABISCO tin presents very nicely!
As pictured and described, this NABISCO PREMIUM SALTINES tin is offered at a competitive price.
