Description

This is a RARE and COMPLETE vintage National Biscuit Company mail-in promotional UNITED NATIONS collectible metal flag and map.  Includes 3 out of 5 original boxes that these flags were mailed in.  The mail-in option for sets B, C, D and E included 16 flags each cost 25 cents plus 1 shredded wheat box top.  Set A included 19 flags and that cost 50 cents and 1 shredded wheat box top.  You also had the option to purchase all 83 flags and the mounting map for .50 and 3 shredded wheat tops.
This is a full complete set of 83 tin flags and the mounting map.  Each flag has the country's Capital, Population, Monetary Unit, and Area Sq. Miles facts printed on the back.  These tin flags have a flap back and slide on and off of the paper mounting map.   This would be great item to frame and display. The map is in excellent condition for its age with only a few minor tears at the fold ends. Corners are in good shape as are the middle fold lines.  Bottom right hand corner has National Biscuit Company printed, there is no date anywhere on this or the boxes. The following 83 flags are represented on the mounting map and included.
